Hammerson are the people behind some of the world’s largest shopping centres. They’re doing their job well when you’ve never heard of them. Which is a problem, when you’re trying to attract the best talent.
Our brief was to create an Employer Brand campaign to raise the profile of Hammerson and highlight the incredible people, places, and opportunities on offer. Hammerson:Life.
The centrepiece of the campaign was a film showcasing the breadth of roles and just some of the locations that Hammerson offer – from Dublin, to Birmingham’s Bullring, central London, to belle Paris.
I storyboarded and art directed both still photography and the live action shoots on location with production partners, along with the production of supporting digital and print collateral.
Employer Brand film
Life at Hammerson is varied and never dull – and I lived it for nearly four months. We dug into all corners of Hammerson:Life and found ourselves on rooftops harvesting honey, as much as looking for the best angles to shoot the sleek lines of the shopping malls themselves.
That’s LIFE
Hammerson:Life boosted the Employer Brand awareness and interest in careers with the company. Unfortunately ‘life’ got in the way and the pandemic set in-person shopping back somewhat just after this film launched.
It’s a project that I’m proud of that had a lot of different partners working together, helping each other and coming together to make the best final product.
